A selection of commissions and small-batch pieces. Every item here began as something worn — a favourite shirt, a well-used coat, a pile of textiles somebody could not quite throw away.

What arrives, and what goes home.
A commission usually begins with a bag of clothes and a fairly vague idea. What comes back is a single considered object — one that carries the fabric, the colours and the history of everything that went into it.
If you would like to see more of a particular kind of piece — quilts, bags, bibs or home comforts — just ask. We are happy to share what we are working on.
