Collection Two

Everyday Moements

Textile waste, transformed into thoughtfully crafted home comforts. Throw pillows, cosy floor cushions and other everyday pieces — made from what would otherwise be thrown away.

What can this fabric still become?

Everyday Moements exists to answer a simple question: what can this fabric still become? We repurpose usable cloth and explore new uses for the scraps, so that a discarded garment can end up somewhere warm and useful.

Everyday Moements sits downstream of everything else we do. It is where the cloth that cannot become a keepsake still becomes something useful — warm, comfortable and made to be used.

Home Comforts

A growing family of everyday pieces for the home, each one developed from materials we already have on hand.

New pieces added as fabric allows

From waste to comfort

How an everyday piece comes together.

  1. Sorting what arrives

Textile waste is sorted by fibre, weight and condition. What can be used as fabric is kept whole; what cannot is set aside for piecing.

  2. Unpicking and stabilising

Seams, zips and buttons come out. Cloth is washed, pressed and given a backing where it needs strength before it is cut.

  3. Piecing and composing

Pieces are laid out and arranged by hand. Colour, texture and wear are balanced so nothing looks accidental.

  4. Filling and finishing

Cushions are filled and closed; covers are finished with seams built to be used. Comfort first, longevity second, decoration third.

What guides it

Rescued, not bought

Everyday Moements works from textiles that already exist. New material is the exception, not the starting point.

Built for real rooms

These are pieces meant to be sat on, leaned against and lived with — not kept pristine on a shelf.

Scraps have a future

Offcuts are collected and pieced into patchwork or reserved for other uses. Very little is thrown away.

Small batches

Because supply depends on what we rescue, pieces are made in small numbers. When the fabric is gone, it is genuinely gone.

A note on availability. Everyday Moements is made from what we are able to rescue, so the range moves with the material. Some pieces are made in small runs and some are one-offs. If you have seen something you like, ask — and if you have textiles looking for a purpose, we would like to hear from you.

Questions

Do you only make keepsakes, or can you make new things too?

Both. Golden Moements is for bespoke pieces made from your own garments, and Everyday Moements is for home comforts made from rescued textile waste.

If you have an idea that does not fit neatly into either, tell us anyway.

What does it cost?

Every commission is priced individually, because every commission uses different fabric and needs a different amount of work.

Send us an enquiry with a little detail about what you have in mind and we will come back to you with a quote and options.

How long does a commission take?

Because everything is made by hand, timelines depend on the piece and the fabric. We will give you a clear timeframe as part of your quote, before anything is committed.

If you need a piece for a particular date, tell us early and we will be honest about whether it is achievable.
